Terms of Use

Last updated 4 November 2026

The short version: everything on this site belongs to David Anderton, please don't repost it without permission, and the books are sold through retailers — not directly from this site.

Accepting these terms

By using davidandertonbooks.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who runs the site

This site is operated by David Anderton, author of the Remediation Series. Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form on this site.

Copyright and content

All text, world-building material, artwork, trailers, and other content on this site are copyright David Anderton unless stated otherwise. The Remediation Series, its characters, places, and concepts are the author's creative work.

You are welcome to share links to Dispatches posts and to quote brief excerpts with attribution. Reposting substantial content — in full or in large part — without written permission is not permitted.

Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with the operation of the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or its admin area, scrape it in ways that degrade its performance, or use it to send unlawful, harassing, or spam content through its forms.

The newsletter

Subscribing to the Dispatches newsletter is voluntary and free. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can leave the list at any time. The list is handled by Mailchimp on the author's behalf; the privacy policy describes what is collected and how it is used.

Links to retailers

Pre-order and buy links point to third-party retailers. Those transactions, prices, and delivery are the retailer's responsibility — this site does not process orders or payments. The author is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.

No warranties

The site and its content are provided as-is. While the author aims for accuracy in lore and release information, details such as release dates can change, and the site does not guarantee that information will always be current or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, David Anderton is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its content.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of this site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada. By using this site you irrevocably submit to that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
